In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance by reviewing these policies:
**We recognize that excellent modern dental care is not an inexpensive item in some family budgets but it remains an outstanding health care value. We assure you that our fees are continually reviewed to reflect regional and national averages and account for our expertise and experience. As a team, we are committed to providing the highest quality care and in using the modern materials and techniques available today. - Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
- We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and debit cards.
- We offer extended, no interest payment options through a third party corporation.
- We encourage you to discuss any financial concerns that you may have so that we may assist you in the effective management of your account.
- Balances over 30 days will be subject to additional interest charges (1.5% per month, 18% annually).
- Balances over 60 days will be outsourced to a third party collection company and credit reporting agency. You will be responsible for the additional fees incurred in this process.
**We base your dental treatment on what is best for your health and do not let insurance benefits dictate our evaluation and diagnosis of your personal health needs.
-If you are fortunate enough to have dental insurance benefits we would be happy to assist you in the filing of dental claims.
- Please keep in mind that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company.
-Claims are submitted promptly after treatment is rendered and does not absolve the patient of responsibility for the charges in full for treatment rendered.
- All estimated out-of-pocket amounts due will be requested at the time of service.
-Any estimate provided by our office is considered a guideline until the final insurance payment, if any, is received and the patient’s account has been reconciled.
-Our office can make no guarantee of your insurance company’s payment as estimated. All charges become your responsibility on the date services are rendered.
Your scheduled appointment with Dr. Brown or in our hygiene department is reserved specifically for you. All hygiene appointments will be confirmed 2 weeks prior to your reserved time. We will also extend the courtesy of a reminder call 2 days prior to your scheduled hygiene appointment should you wish to use this service. Appointments reserved with Dr. Brown are confirmed 2 days prior the scheduled appointment. We understand that unplanned events arise. We are able to change your reserved appointment with 2 business days notice. There will be a fee assessed for ‘no shows’ and repeated ‘short notice’ cancellations. Please keep in mind that the office is open for patient care Monday through Thursday.
