Dr. Brown - Bio, Education and Interests

1980- Bachelor's degree cum laude in Zoology from The University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH

1984- Received doctoral degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Cleveland, OH

1984-1988 Received a commission in the U.S. Navy and served as a Dental Officer in:
Norfolk, VA: Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base
Okinawa, JAPAN: 3rd Marine Battalion
San Francisco, CA: Moffett Field Naval Air Station

1988- General Practice Associate in Centerville (Cape Cod), MA

1991- Opened current Dental practice in downtown Portsmouth, NH

2006- Built and moved into new location in Newington, NH

  • Families First Dental Clinic, Portsmouth, NH. (Monthly volunteer to assist with the ever-increasing patient load to this wonderful facility.)
  • National Archery Safety Instructor
  • Maine Outdoor Education Instructor, Inland Fisheries and Wildlife

INTERESTS:

Dr. Brown lives in Eliot, ME with his wife and two teenage children. His hobbies include Boating (learning to navigate the Piscataqua), Martial Arts (Has been studying Isshin Ryu Karate with his kids for the last four years), Horses (Two Morgan horses he drives with a carriage), Hunting, Photography and Travel.

Carol - Registered Dental Hygienist

Carol has 20 years of experience as a hygienist including work with periodontal specialists. She graduated from Forsythe School of Dental Hygiene and has an Associate's degree in Science from Northeastern University. Carol and her family are longtime residents of Portsmouth.

Deanna - Registered Dental Hygienist

Deanna has been an employee in our practice for 15 years. She also has extensive experience in a local pediatric dental practice and has worked as a Certified Dental Assistant. Deanna earned her Hygiene degree from NH Technical Institute. She lives in South Berwick with her family.

Mary - Dental Assistant

Mary earned her Certificate of Dental Assisting from Harkness Vocational School in Cheektowaga, NY. She has experience in several dental offices over the last 20 years and excels at working with dental software and digital x-ray systems. Mary lives in Dover with her husband and 2 children.

Rachel - Scheduling Coordinator

Rachel has 14 years of experience working in the dental field with expertise in dental insurance claims and financial arrangements. Don't ask her about her new grandson unless you have plenty of time on your hands.
